SMDs are compact components that can be directly placed over the PCB.

Then, the components are picked and placed in the desired place. Finally, the board is passed through a reflow oven, and the components are directly mounted without any hassle.

They provide higher lumen output, which improves the level of illuminance in the area. They are more efficient and brighter. This is the reason SMD LED PCB boards are preferred.
